RED DSMC2 Side Handle

The RED DSMC2 Side Handle attaches directly to the side of the camera BRAIN to provide shooters an ergonomic handle option. The side handle features a molded rubber grip with various controls for a compact handheld configuration. A dedicated Focus Control Wheel offers direct control of the lens focus while the Iros Control Wheel supports iris control. The side handle also utilzies a rotary wheel and D-pad for advanced menu control while four customizable buttons can be mapped for quick access to exposure, white balance, autofocus, and maginification.

An intelligent DSMC2 handle wouldn’t be complete without a record button—allowing you to toggle record on/off directly from the handle. On top of an integrated RECORD button, the DSMC2 Side Handle features a MARK FRAME button, empowering you to tag frames while shooting and revisit them later in post-production.

Note: The DSMC2 Side Handle cannot be used simultaneously with the DSMC2 Outrigger Handle or DSMC2 Sidekick.
