California Proposition 65
Attention California residents: Proposition 65, also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, mandates that warnings be provided to consumers in California when they might be exposed to chemicals recognized by the state as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. These warnings are designed to help consumers make informed choices about their exposure to such chemicals in the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) oversees the Proposition 65 program and maintains a list of over 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA introduced new regulations that took effect on August 30, 2018, updating the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.
At Filmtools, we prioritize product safety and are committed to complying with all relevant safety and health regulations.
