The URSA PlushTangle 60x15cm - Black/White - 2-Pack uses a shorter, plush pile than URSA's standard FurTangle line, offering a lower-profile fur treatment while still providing effective noise reduction around a lav capsule or mounting point.

Cut-your-own application

Each 60 × 15cm PlushTangle rectangle is designed to be trimmed with scissors into whatever shape a specific microphone, mount, or noisy fabric area requires. This is particularly useful for uniquely shaped rigging situations - such as car rig mics or unconventional mount positions - where a pre-cut fur circle would not provide adequate coverage. Sound mixers commonly use the fur to treat areas of noisy fabric near a lav mount, such as chest hair or textured clothing, reducing friction noise that would otherwise be picked up by the microphone.

Sticky-backed application

Combined with URSA's hypoallergenic sticky strips (sold separately), a cut piece of PlushTangle fur can be applied directly to clothing or skin as a sticky-backed fur patch - a fast, secure way to add wind and noise protection exactly where needed without additional taping steps. The black and white color options allow the fur to be matched to dark or light clothing and skin tones for visual concealment.
