Lensbaby Creative Portrait Kit for Canon EF

The Lensbaby Creative Portrait Kit for Canon EF is a bundle of lenses and opticals that help you set up for that unique portrait shoot. This kit was designed by Lensbaby with Canon EF-mount DSLRs in mind. The kit comes with a Composer Pro II along with an Edge 80 Optic, a Sweet 50 Optic, and the Twist 60 Optic with Straight Body, as well as a 14 x 14" lens cleaning cloth and a System Bag for protecting and storing the whole kit.

Composer Pro II with Edge 80 Optic for Canon EF

Create unique, stylized photographs with a slice of sharp focus surrounded by beautifully blurred imagery by using Lensbaby's Composer Pro II with Edge 80 Optic, available here with a Canon EF mount. This updated tool is completely compatible with the established Optic Swap System and can use any of the numerous optics available. This version improves on the original Pro model by featuring a metal body as well as an improved tilt function that ranges from 0-15° in any direction.

Bundled with it is the Edge 80, offering a normal angle of view with coverage for full-frame image sensors. This flat field optic differs from your standard lens by creating a slice of focus when tilted that can be manipulated in position by tilting the Composer and in size by manually changing the aperture from f/2.8 to f/22. The optic also offers manual focus which, by using the close focus extension feature, can focus as close as 17" from your subject. Additionally, this optic has a 46mm filter thread as well as an internal 12-blade diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus areas.

Sweet 50 Optic for Composer Pro

The Lensbaby Sweet 50 Optic is made for use with the Composer Pro, which can be bought separately, or used interchangeably with the Sweet 50 if you own it already with a different optic. It is a selective focus lens that uses a curved field of focus optic to create a blurred effect around the focus spot.

The 50mm focal length lens has two multi-coated glass elements in one group, and an aperture range of f/2.5 to f/22. The 12-blade internal aperture is easily controlled via a ring on the front of the optic. The sharp sweet spot of focus can be moved within the frame by tilting the Composer Pro's ball-and-socket joint. The size of the sweet spot is also controlled by changing the aperture.

Twist 60 Optic with Straight Body for Canon EF

Draw attention to your subject by creating a smooth subtle swirl to your edges with the Lensbaby Twist 60 Optic with Straight Body available here with a Canon EF mount. This optic is compatible with the Optic Swap System and performs best when used with the included straight body.This full-frame 60mm f/2.5 lens features an internal 12-blade diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus areas. You can manually change the aperture from f/2.5 to f/22 utilizing the dial on the front of the lens and you can manually focus on subjects as close as 18".

When shooting at a wider aperture, the Twist 60's swirled effect places more emphasis on your centered subject in full focus. As you stop down, the center area gets larger allowing you to bring more of your image into exact focus. The Twist 60 offers 46mm front threads for any filters you would like to use to further enhance your image.

The Twist 60 works best and is recommended for use with full frame cameras. Much of the swirled blur gets lost when using the optic with an APS-C sensor.

System Bag for Combinations of Lenses, Optics and Accessories

The Lensbaby System Bag (Black) is a sturdy, flexible bag designed to carry many combinations of lenses (Muse, Control Freak, Composer, Scout and Composer with Tilt Transformer), optics or accessories. The removable and adjustable elastic straps inside the bag allow customizing the interior. The sides of the bag feature an easy-access corner flap that enables access to frequently used products. The bag includes several pockets including an outside zipper and an inside mesh full length sleeve. They are used for stowing an Aperture Kit, Macro Kit, or even extra media cards. There are touch fastener straps on the bottom of the bag that allow attaching 1 bag to another. The bag is carried by a handle and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap with a non-lip pad.
