Gigatronix 12G-SDI 4K Mini RG59 TPE Jacket Black Flex (UHD75-M59XF) is a high-performance mini coaxial cable engineered for 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, and 3G-SDI video signal transmission in professional broadcast and production environments. The Gigatronix UHD75-M59XF combines a silver plated copper inner conductor, foam HDPE dielectric, dual shielding, and a flexible black TPE jacket in a compact 0.6/2.6 Mini RG59 form factor — delivering DC to 12 GHz performance with the flexibility demanded by camera, OB, and studio installations.

ExtraFlex TPE Jacket for Maximum Installation Flexibility

The black TPE outer jacket gives the UHD75-M59XF a static bending radius of just 14mm and a flexing bending radius of 46mm — significantly more flexible than standard PVC-jacketed mini coaxial cables. This makes it well suited for camera head cables, portable OB applications, and any installation where the cable must navigate tight bends or be repeatedly flexed during use without degrading performance or risking jacket damage.

Dual Shielding for Superior Signal Integrity

A bonded aluminium foil first shield at 2.70mm and a tinned copper braid second shield at 3.15mm provide comprehensive protection against electromagnetic interference, maintaining clean signal transmission across the full 12 GHz operating frequency range. The silver plated copper inner conductor and foam HDPE dielectric deliver a 75 Ohm impedance match with 83% velocity of propagation and 53 pF/m capacitance — consistent with the electrical requirements of SMPTE-standard SDI signal chains.

12G-SDI Transmission Performance

Maximum recommended transmission distances are 97m at 3Gb/s (SMPTE ST425), 64m at 6Gb/s (SMPTE ST2081), and 44m at 12Gb/s (SMPTE 2082/2083), based on 40dB loss at half clock frequency. Frequency attenuation data confirms strong performance across the full SDI range: 17.84 dB/100m at 270 MHz, 35.40 dB/100m at 1 GHz, and 135.00 dB/100m at 12 GHz. The cable is CPR Fca compliant and RoHS compliant, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +75°C.
