4K UHD Performance up to 12Gbps
Rated DC to 12 GHz, the UHD75-M59-7 delivers the bandwidth required for single-link 12Gbps 4K UHD transmission in accordance with SMPTE 2082 and SMPTE 2083, with maximum recommended transmission distances of 97m at 3Gb/s (SMPTE ST425), 64m at 6Gb/s (SMPTE ST2081), and 44m at 12Gb/s — based on 40dB loss at half clock frequency. Full backward compatibility with 3G-SDI and 6G-SDI ensures seamless integration into mixed-standard broadcast facilities.
Low-Loss Construction with Dual Shielding
A solid silver plated copper inner conductor at 0.584mm and a low-loss foam HDPE dielectric at 2.59mm provide the electrical foundation for reliable high-frequency signal transmission. Dual shielding — a bonded aluminium foil first shield at 2.70mm and a tinned copper braid second shield at 3.15mm — delivers comprehensive protection from electromagnetic interference, maintaining 75 Ohm impedance with 83% velocity of propagation and 53 pF/m capacitance across the full operating frequency range.
Violet FR-PVC Jacket for Easy Cable Identification
The violet FR-PVC outer jacket at 4.05mm provides flame retardancy with a CPR Eca compliance rating, making the cable suitable for use in buildings and facilities with fire performance requirements.
