The Gefen HDMI Detective Plus recods the display EDID date and makes it available to the Hi-Def source reliabily and on a continuous basis. The Detective Plus ensures that a connected Hi-Def source sends compatible audio and video signals. The reliaiblity of HDCP handshaking is improved with DDC re-clocking technology and the Gefen Sync-G PC software or terminal emulation can manipulate the EDID data. The HDMI EDID Detective Plus has been designed for easy programming and quick installation.
