3M™ Dual Lock™ Adhesive-Backed Reclosable Fasteners can solve your design dilemmas ﾗ replacing screws, bolts and rivets as a tool-free, seamless fastening system. The industrial fasteners work similarly to hook and loop products, but offer five times the holding strength and are still lightweight. They have interlocking mushroom-shaped stems that "snap" together for strong fastening on one side and 3M™ adhesives to securely adhere to various surfaces on the other.

The 3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fastener MP3541/MP3542 is a rubber based adhesive on the back of a black, polypropylene reclosable fastener. It features 400 stems per square inch which makes it 5 times stronger than hook and loop. It has a .23 inch engaged thickness with a closure life of 1,000. Designed for indoor use with many plastics (acrylic, polycarbonate and ABS), powder coated paints and low surface energy materials (polypropylene and polyethylene). The Dual Lock Fastener is ideal for mounting or attaching weighty obects to surfaces. The rubber adhesive performs well up to 120 degrees F. continuously or 158 degrees intermittently.

How to Use
To use the fasteners, simply press together the two sides of interlocking mushroom-shaped stems until you hear an audible snap, indicating the fastener is engaged.
